Today was a bit crazy. Last night Aiden woke up at 3 or so crying and it took me a moment to fully wake up and realize that he was burning up. He was so hot I ended up taking him to my room and taking his clothes off and laying him under the celining fan to cool him down. That seemed to help a little and I went ahead and changed his diaper and gave him some tylenol before nursing him. After I nursed him however he ended up coughing a very wet cough and made himself throw up everything he just ate. I had just changed the sheets!! Not fair. Michael got up for some reason at 5 and wanted to come and sleep in my room with me. I was so gone tired that I told him to jump in. We all went back to sleep until 7. I can't really say that I got good sleep last night because waking up every hour to every couple of hours doesn't really count. But we made it to school and I took Aiden into his class. Michael went to help IA set up her class, or just play, and I told his teacher that he had had a fever last night. She told me ask Becky if she wanted me to take him home or if she wanted him to stay today. I went ahead and asked Becky and at first she had just said that we would keep him away from the other kids. Then she changed her mind and said tht I should probably take him home. I set up everything for Helena and then took Aiden home. I somehow managed to get him an appointment at 11 with his doctor. Guess what. He now has his third ear infection. The doctor faxed the perscrition over to Target and I went over with Aiden and just looked around for a while so it would be ready when I picked it up. I went and picked it up and took him over to my mom and dad's house.
I decided to go after James full force. I basically have to find him to serve him or the whole adoption thing is on hold. Unless he is served to a judges liking, meaning he has personally recieved notification of the motion of termination of parental rights, we can't do anything. So what do we have to lose? James is already crazy right now, so who care if we stir the pot. One of two things will happen. He will go ahead and give me the address, or maybe he'll hire a lawyer or come back to town both of which are a really bad idea on his part. Either way he would be giving us what we need. Him, to be served the papers. There is no way a judge would grant him any rights when there is a loving father and family where he is now. Plus he hasn't seen or talked to him since before the divorce was finalized, and hasn't paid a dime of child support. But still, please pray that all of this craziness will work out and fast. Lawyers aren't cheap. And we aren't rich.
On to lighter subjects.. We all had fun at my mom's house. Michael and pappaw and grandma and Aiden all went for a nice walk around the block, Michael got about 7-10 mosquito bites, and michael was obviously very tired, as his mood was very whiny and grumpy. Even still, he tried to use his manners and obey. He tried. He is growing up so fast. His birthday party will be the day after or day of peter getting back. Don't know which yet.
After my parent's house I took Michael to church and dropped him off for Rainbow's and went home to clean a bit. I cannot believe how many clothes I got out and washed for Aiden. Michael had almost a full box of 12 month clothes. Aiden is, I think, more comfortalbe in the 12 mo clothes. At the doctor we found out that he is an even 20 pounds and 27 inches. BIG boy. That is probably why he doesn't fit lengthwise in some of the 9 month things. Some of the stuff is winter, but it so cold in the nursery, he needs to wear it. I do need to get some more hangers.
Have a good night.
The pics are of Aiden laughing at michael or trying to grab the camera from me, or just funny faces he was making. Enjoy.
