dun duh duh dun

The day before school starts is always crazy. I would love to say that we did some cool traditional thing, but we didn't. I think we'll have cinnamon rolls and chocolate milk for breakfast tommorrow. That will be a cool tradition. This morning Michael woke up on the wrong side of the bed and started whining early. I told him in a mommy way to get over it and start the day off nicely. He quickly lost the tude. IA cme to pick him up today and took him to McDonalds to play with Kevan, his best friend. Peter and I knocked out the laundry and cleaned up what we could around the house. Aiden interruped a couple times, but we got a good amount done. Michael's room still looks like a war zone, but that is what it looks like all the time.
I hate to even say it because I really don't want to jinx myself. Aiden is now cutting out the cat naps little by little. For about three days running now, he has taken two long naps along with a couple of cat naps in between. At first I was still just sitting around waiting for him to wake up. When he would nap I would either grab something to eat, or put stuff away, or help Michael with something; all because I knew he was going to wake up very soon. After two days of that, I have kind of started this mad rush to get a few things done while he takes a really long nap. You can actually get quite a bit done in an hours time. who knew. Best thing is that he is happy for a good while after he wakes up. He went to sleep about 8 tonight. He has ben waking up at 6:30 regularly and stared talking to me. I go and get him about 4:30 or 5 to feed him, and then he goes back to sleep right there next to me. I should probably pt him back in bed, but I'd rather sleep. Besides he is actually sleeping in his own bed over night. Small steps people.
I have a wonderful loving husband that took Michael with him to the bank while I took the baby shopping for groceries. We were running out of things to eat, and school started tommorrow, so I thought it might be a good idea to stock up. I usually only get a pound of deli meat as I am the only one who eats it, but today the meat was so good I got a pound and a half! Going crazy here, step aside people.
I would like o send a shout out to Marianne for redoing the blog for me. It looks great doesn't it??
