I can't even describe how crazy today was. First of all, I was up at 6:45 to start getting everything ready for the school day. I somehow made it to school on time and somehow got everything we were supposed to do done today. It was utter chaos. I don't know how any teacher is ever able to have everything she needs actually ready for the week. I can't do anything with a 4 month old on my hip.
Stephanie, the nursery worker, said that Aiden had been screaming all morning. I went in there to find Becky holding him while he screamed. I think he wanted me. But I also think that he didn't feel that great. He had his first bottle around 10:30 or so. I went in to feed him at almost 12:30. He was so obviously glad to see me. He was screaming in a bouncer when I went in there because Stephanie was changing another baby's diaper. I sat there and talked to him and fed him, but he ate only fora little bit before puking on me. I think I didn't pick him up to burp fast enough. Then he started going to the bathroom while I held him. He hadn't gone poop for two days previous to today. I had threatened him with a baby enema and I think it finally scared the poop out of him. hehe. He went two different times today, but it just smelled sicky. It wasn't normal either. It looked almost slimy and sticky, and very very green. Like forest green. Tonight I had to go to work, so mom came over at 4 to watch the boys. Peter got to come home early today and so took over for her at maybe 7:30 or so. From what Peter told me, things were going good until Aiden started throwing up over and over again. I guess that is when I received a phone call about what to do. I told him I was about to leave and to maybe give him a bath to calm him down. From what Peter was telling me he seemed happier after he threw up, but also less active and more mellow. He would just sit and stare. when I got here I took him and sat on the recliner with him and just talked to him. He seemed so very tired and just stared at different things. Then he puked what ever else he had on his tummy up. Not much of anything, but still puked. I could tell he was just so very tired, so I tried to feed him a little bit, but I don't know if he got anything. He didn't even seem interested in eating. He fell asleep in my arms pretty quickly.
Michael was excited about school today. OK, he was more excited about showing off his backpack. He had fun terrorizing his teacher with his friends. That class of boys is crazy!!! Kevan and Michael would be a handful to begin with. But then you also have tabor and Kennan who do the same thing. Poor Kim.
All I have to say is that it was a long long day.
