fun day

Today was so much fun!! We arrived to church on time, because Peter had us leave early enough. I was going to put Aiden in the nursery as I have been doing for the past few weeks, but there was only one lady in there and she already had two screaming kids and an infant. But not to worry there were four people passing him around until I had to take him and feed him. He went from Randi to Dad, to me, to Peter, back to Randi, back to dad, and that's about when I had to go feed him. Fun times. Aiden looked so startled every time people would clap. The baby dedication is set for September 7th. It'll be nice. Right now there is only one other baby being dedicated. When Michael was dedicated, there were at least 10 other babies up there. That just shows you how much our church is growing.
Today we had the "block party" for everyone that we were able to minister to as part of our adopt a block program. Michael and Kevin ran around like two twin brothers attached at the hips the whole time. There was a big Fire truck there spraying water everywhere. The kids LOVED that and I even joined in on the fun, mainly because it was so hot outside. Mom and dad took the baby inside out of the heat for a good while, so I was able to follow the twins around for a while. I waited too long too eat and only got to eat one actual hamburger. Then I got eat one hamburger patty. Oh well. The twins were so cute. At one point Michael came walking over to me and said "Mom can I get Kevin a towel please? He's cold. I told him to go get Kevin and we would go and get a towel for him. We grabbed a towel nd started walking back towards the rest of the stuff, and kevin kept telling Michael he wanted to share his towel with him. Ia finally put the towel over both of their heads and they walked around like that for a while. Among their three rounds of snow cones, in which they only ate the top part of each of them, they had cotton candy and bounced on the play houses, and then ran through the water again. Needless to say, they had a very very long day. He fell asleep quickly after he ate a whole bowl of Maccaroni and cheese. 8:30 and both boys are out. Both of us are headed that way too. We are tired!!
