Oh man. I know I haven't updated this the entire week. I have just been so tired and distracted. I decided I don't want to pay for one of the cool slings that everyone is raving about. So, my mom and I are going to make it. Or at least we are going to try. It should end up only costing me 20 or so to just make, compared to the 60- 70 dollars it would cost to buy it online. crazy huh? It does require some sewing, so that is the only part I am nervous about. My mom said she kind of remembers how to sew. I bet I could figure it out eventually if I really wanted to. I wanted to send a shout out to my wonderful mother-in-law for the "friday night" movie night gift she gave me and Michael. That was so thoughtful, and we really enjoyed being able to sit down and watch that cute movie and eat popcorn and eat candy. So thanks again.
Like I said, this week has been hairy. Nicole was gone and so I had to work with Cassie's sister Brenda in the 2 year old room. I'll tell you what, it is hard to be a teacher. I can't hardly get my kids out the door on time, much less get a craft ready once I get there and the n get everything where it needs to be. I did enjoy the pizza days I had.. two of them!! Michael has recently been just so funny because I'm in the class across from him. Any time he goes to the bathroom, which is in between the two classrooms, he pokes his head in just to talk to me. On thursday, he poked his head in to tell me he needed a wipe to wipe himself and then when he was done playing in the water, he poked his head in and saw me eating a piece of pizza. He got very excited and asked me, more like ordered me to give him some. I did, and he scarfed it down! Then he ate a whole other huge piece. He is hitting another growth spurt. Tonight he ate KFC, thanks to grandmommy, and he ate a WHOLE side of kernel corn and half a side of macaroni, and then ate one and a half of the big chicken strips.
Let me tell you though. He has got an attitude!! woah! I have fought with him today and yesterday only about his attitude. He sometimes, if he catches himself, will pretend that he was just joking right after he said it. Something happened at lunch today. I had several packets of Equal on the table. He was trying to be sneaky and grab one and I had told him not to a couple of times already. Then when I was talking to Olivia, and not looking, I saw him take one. Well, he hid it pretty well, but I also didn't look very hard. My mom said that when I was talking to someone a little bit later he called out out Grandma in a whisper. "grandma! grandma!" and then he held up the packet for her to see. then he said" shhhh. don't tell her." pointing at me. "she thinks they're dangerous." About that time, I turned back around to see him holding up the tortilla and he quickly said "here grandma I was saving this for you for Christmas. And I was saving this tortilla for you for Christmas", as he throws it at her. How sneaky is that little "fella"? Also compliments of Michael. He is nuts!!! He even tried to tell both me and my mom that "Dr. soda, hahahahaha" is healthy for him. He'll pull out the healthy card sometimes when he wants something. Lately it has been water, so we go ahead and give him some. But he tried that with a couple other things as well.
Aiden is doing good. Tuesday I took him back to the doctor because it looked like he was getting sick again. He had eye crusties and he was very very congested as well as runny. Also on Tues at MDO, when I went in to nurse him his eyes looked like allergy eyes, all red and puffy. He was just miserable. Well the doctor said that he had the beginning of another ear infection. That makes officially two ear infections now, at three months old. He seems to be following in mommy's earsteps. (clever huh?) The azthromycin he was on for the first one tore him up and had him screaming for a whole day! So the doctor put him on O-something, It has the generic name on the bottle. It seems to not be hurting his insides bad enough to hurt his outsides. I give it to him right before bed along with a dose of Tylenol so that he will sleep well. I don't think that the antibiotic helps him sleep, but maybe the Tylenol will keep him from hurting. He has been cranky during the second half of the day, around 6:30 or so. He does not like to lay down. He wants to be sitting up at all times so that he can see that crazy brother of his. I tell you what, I don't know what I am going to do once Aidn can move around and follow Michael. Marlee and Makenna made me realize just how dirty my floors were today, and also gave me a reality check of what it is going to be like in just a few short months for me. Can I just start screaming now please? All of the nasty dust bunnies and Macaroni and chip bit that I didn't see on the floor until today will have to be constantly cleaned. I need to any way, but the point is I never realized how big of a mess Michael really makes. Thank you Thank you thank you for opening my eyes. This is the third night in a row that Aiden is in his crib. The first night he went down at 9:30 and I had to wake him up at 8:30. Last night he went down around 9:30 or so and woke up at 4. Not bad. It is actually usual for him to do that. He has one sometimes very short snack and then goes back to sleep. Somehow last night Michael made it into my room and into my bed without me waking up or noticing. All I know is that i woke up and I was snuggling him, arm around him and everything. I must have been tired. I thought it was kind of cute, so I let him stay.
By the way the pictures kind of need explaining. The koala bear Michael said looked like pappaw. And the ones of the boys in th car seats just shows you how Michael entertains Aiden while in the car. His song of choice is ABC's. Aiden loves loves loves to watch him. He even looks over to see Michael when Michael is not in the car. It is kind of sad. He'll look, and than look away and around, then he'll just turn and stare at his seat.
love to all, Goodnight
P.S. By the way Peter, Michael took more of his pretend medicine again, this time with a purple marker. Didn't wash off the first time in the shower, we'll try again later.

Loved seeing you and the boys! I agree about the Koala!! =)
Looks like Pappaw, huh? Well, Pappaw is growing his hair out (as well as it will grow) and he's gonna lose some weight. Rolly-polly no more!
